We Are
To provide a Safe Space for Athletes.
We care for the mental health of athletes and believe that each daily action can make an impact.
It's hard for athletes to express themselves, especially when the stigmatization and expectations surrounding such behavior is extreme. Most of the time, they are forced to bottle up their feelings, leaving only their perfect selves visible to the world. This, when continued for a long time, can lead them towards mental exhaustion and in some cases, developing mental illness.
As a non-profit student-led organization, we hope to educate others about this buried issue within society as well as help existing athletes to have a platform to speak.

To this day, it is still a taboo for many to truthfully share and talk about their feelings due to societal limitations and social expectations.
A core mission of our team is to allow people to learn about the struggles that athletes go through and fully understand that ways that one could be impacted by mental health.
Support
As a team that consists of members who are athletes themselves, we acknowledge the importance of giving a helping hand to other people in this community and providing them ways to express themselves without judgement.
It is our objective to be the medium for these unheard voices and be a pillar that supports them physically and mentally.

Hi! I'm Giselle, a current Year 12 student at West Island School. I'm currently an IB student and a competitive swimmer, who also happens to love penguins. When I'm not in the pool, you might catch me breaking out in song, listening to music or helping out at church. I hope to spread kindness and joy to everyone that comes across our page!

Hey there! I’m Milla, a current Year 12 student at island school. As an enthusiastic volleyball player, I try my best to maintain a balance of academics, sports and extracurriculars every day. I love watching and making films. I hope to empower others by sharing their stories and letting their voices be heard!

Hi my name is Karen, and I’m an IB student from GSIS! Asides from competitive swimming, I also enjoy running or sailing in my free time. If I’m not at school, I’m probably studying or swimming/sinking at the pool. Looking forward to working with everyone this year :)

Hi there, I’m Katie and i’m currently a Year 12 in Island School. I’m just a regular person trying to navigate through this crazy game we call life. I love cats, food and playing netball, and I’m always down for any song recommendations!! I’m not the most outgoing person in the world, but once you get to know me, I promise I’m pretty easy to get along with.
